Saltfell is a self check in property with keyless access.  You will receive an access code to enter the property in the days leading up to your stay and then an on the day reminder. This is a unique code to you for your stay.

Unfortunately we do not offer late check out.

Yes. Please get in touch before your stay to notify if you require a crib.

Complementary Wi-Fi is provided in every cabin. Details to log in are in the room and the hallway on arrival.

Due to the nature of Saltfell and the landscape in which we sit, we do not have accessible rooms.

We  love dogs, and they are always welcome to stay at Saltfell. This must be booked before your stay. Not all cabins are dog friendly. We only have 2 dog friendly cabins.
Additional charge of £25 per stay per dog.
*No charge for service dogs.
We provide a dog pack in the room. Bed, bowl, treats.
Dogs cannot be left in the cabins un-attended. So we ask if you are bringing a dog to make sure you book a dog friendly pub for dinner.

Yes there is open air car parking at the property. We cannot guarantee or reserve a space.

Manchester (MAN) is 87.8 miles away. This is a 90 minute drive via the M6 or available by train to Kents Bank Station (on our doorstop).

The West Coast mainline runs to the east of the Lake District, connecting Oxenholme (which is near Kendal), With London & Glasgow. Oxenholme is a 30 minute taxi away or accessible by Bus or Train.
A direct train runs from Manchester to Kents Bank.
